Most potential homeowners (at all education and demographic levels)feel that owning a home is advisable to renting. In fact, as many as 64% of the renters surveyed planned on a future home purchase.
Reasons for this included high-ranking schools and safety as concerns when purchasing a future home. Many renters felt that rents were likely to increase which makes home ownership even more attractive. However in most cases income restrictions, low savings, and job security continue to represent obstacles to home ownership.
